During February, 2002, one source was deployed near Guadeloupe, by IFM, Kiel, Germany as part of the MOVE program (Meridional Overturning Variability Experiment). |

Before moored deployment, the sound source was tested at 800 m depth. These results are from a hydrophone at depth 200m. Sound intensity (note acoustic shadow and underwater channel concentration), and spectrogram of received signal, are shown below. |
