Job Title: Electrical Engineer Status: Full Time

DESCRIPTION |
The requirement is for a degreed, seasoned, results-oriented electrical engineer, capable of end-to-end project responsibility and execution. The ideal candidate should have, besides the required technical skills, demonstrated success in all areas of project management including: planning, scheduling, budgets, vendor selection and management, customer interface, prototype procurement and de-bugging, documentation and manual generation, product transition to manufacturing, and on-going product support. Experience in the oceanographic instrument/vehicle field is desirable, but not essential. The candidate will report directly to the Engineering Manager, and be part of a small engineering/development group including mechanical and software engineers. Most assignments will be of a project nature, requiring budget and schedule oversight. The position will also entail on-going engineering support to existing product lines of autonomous underwater vehicles, as well as shorter term efforts in response to special customer requests. |
QUALIFICATIONS |
Education/Experience: BSEE with 8-10 years experience The preferred candidate would have a solid educational background in electrical engineering and basic physics, as well as the ability to prioritize, schedule, and execute assignments in a dynamic, multi-tasking environment.
